Mindful Movement is a free program for adults 18+ years old of all fitness levels that brings together physical activity, mental wellness, and social connection through guided group sessions.
This fall, we’re offering multiple sessions in accessible spaces across Lyons Township—because wellness should be within everyone’s reach.
Mindful Movement is presented by OptWell and Lyons Township Mental Health Commission.
What to Expect
Mindful Movement sessions blend movement—stretching, functional exercises, balance work, and light strength training—with mindfulness practices including deep breathing and guided reflection.
Each 45–60 minute session includes:
- A brief, inspiring message about the benefits of movement and mindfulness
- Guided movement and mindfulness practice
- Time for social connection and personalized instructor support
- Take-home resources to support your ongoing well-being journey
