Mask UP La Grange
Your support of our one-of-a-kind local businesses will be written all over your face. We're selling facemasks to encourage solidarity and support for mask use and show that wearing is caring. Proceeds from the sale of the masks are helping to support the LGBA’s local business initiatives that benefit the small businesses in our community throughout the pandemic. Find out more.
La Grange Outdoor Farmers Market (Thursdays through October)
Our award-winning market is operational from 7am to 1pm on Thursdays through October. Local farmers and artisans provide a selection of fresh produce, meats, baked goods, confections, plants and more. A new layout, sanitation and social distancing policies are in place. Come enjoy the bountiful harvest from Midwest growers! Convenient free parking is located nearby. Sponsored by Kathy Dierkes State Farm and prasino.
Summer Art Project 2021
We salute the vibrant arts community in La Grange by organizing a unique al fresco art display each summer; this year, we honor the 75th anniversary of the La Grange Pet Parade with a special exhibit geared to pets and the people who love them, called Sit, Stay & Play La Grange. This one-of-a-kind exhibit of clever doghouses and relaxing lounge chairs is sponsored by dozens of local businesses working with local artists who design and paint them for display on the sidewalks of the business district. In September, the artwork is auctioned for local nonprofits. Watch for details!
La Grange Sidewalk Sale (Fri & Sat, Aug 27-28, 2021)
You'll love the bargains as our shop owners clear their shelves for new fall merchandise. Get ready for big savings, real deals and bargains galore at our end-of-season Sidewalk Sale. You've got two days to shop and save at some of your favorite neighborhood boutiques. There's no place like La Grange - and no cooler spot to visit with deals this hot! With free parking; stores open for their regular hours.
West End Arts Festival (September 11-12, 2021)
This juried fine arts festival is a popular end-of-the-summer event for the community as well as for high-caliber artists from across the country. It's held in the shadow of the landmark Stone Avenue Metra train station in the charming and historic West End of La Grange surrounded by old trees and small, local businesses and plenty of free parking. This picture-perfect setting is the ideal spot to shop and talk with artists in person, enjoy live jazz, culinary demonstrations from noted chefs, wine tastings, art classes and interactive fun for kids

Skeletons alive! Visit La Grange and join our local businesses for spirited fun with their display of lively and unique life-sized skeletons on the sidewalks. Bring your camera - little ones will love our funny and charming guests this Fall. Post your pics to #skeletober and tag us to enter our random drawing. Get details on our Skeleton Scavenger Hunt, too, through October, and enjoy a spooky cocktail at one of our restaurants. Watch for details in 2021.
