It’s that time of year again! The Village of La Grange and the La Grange Business Association are welcoming in the holiday season with exciting promotions at local shops and restaurants and festive traditions, both new and old.
Beginning on Small Business Saturday, La Grange will promote shopping small at local businesses and help visitors create holiday memories with local carolers, Santa’s arrival by firetruck, a tree lighting ceremony, specialty holiday cocktails, and other holiday surprises throughout December.
“Hometown Holidays really encapsulates what makes La Grange so special – a vibrant community that celebrates the joy of the season,” said Village President, Mark Kuchler. “We invite our neighbors to stop by La Grange this holiday season, whether they are shopping for unique gifts from our local retailers, dining at our delicious restaurants, or just out and about during our annual Holiday Walk. We hope La Grange’s Hometown Holidays provides an opportunity for everyone to slow down and delight in special holiday moments.”
“This year’s Hometown Holidays really blends the old with the new. It’s the perfect mixture of cherished local traditions like Santa’s arrival by fire truck to Village Hall and exciting new shopping experiences like our 12 Days of Holiday Joy, bringing together the best of both worlds for our community,“ said Stephanie Posey, LGBA Board President. “This is an exciting time of year for La Grange and we are looking forward to another holiday season of supporting our local businesses.”
