Want to change your results? Change your mind.

The mind is a computer, and like a computer, it can be programmed. Computer programs don’t have emotional baggage, they are simply a set of steps followed in a sequential order.

The path to your goals is the same. It starts with your identity. Who you believe you are. This can be programmed into your mind on a daily basis by reading a description of the identity you want to embrace. Memorize it.

Your identity drives your self esteem. If you like the person you are, your self esteem is high. Your self esteem drives your beliefs about yourself. People with a strong self esteem believe they are capable of doing difficult, challenging, impressive things.

Your beliefs drive your thoughts. The stuff you think about is what gets your attention and your focus. If you are thinking about things that you are worried about happening in the future and about the things you don’t have, you aren’t going to have the same productive thoughts as someone fixated on their goals and the amazing things they already have.

Your thoughts drive the decisions you make. Most decisions are made quickly and subconsciously.

What to eat,
What to drink,
What to say,
What to read,
Who to pay attention to.

The decisions you make drive your actions. The actions you take day after day drive the results you experience.
If you want to control the outcome, start with what’s inside your mind. If you don’t like what you think about yourself, change it.

Identity > beliefs
Beliefs > thoughts
Thoughts > decisions
Decisions > actions
Actions > results
