La Grange residents looking to safely dispose of old paperwork and sensitive documents will have an opportunity to do so during FNBC Bank & Trust’s upcoming Shred Day event. The community event will take place on Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to noon in the FNBC Bank & Trust parking lot at 620 W. Burlington Ave. in La Grange.
Hosted in partnership with R4 Services, the event gives community members a secure way to shred confidential documents while helping reduce the risk of identity theft. Old bank statements, tax records, medical paperwork, and other personal documents can be brought to the site for safe disposal.
The event is designed to make document shredding simple and accessible for local residents. Community shred days have become increasingly popular as more people look for secure ways to manage sensitive information without throwing paperwork directly into the trash.
FNBC Bank & Trust has long been part of the La Grange community. Originally known as First National Bank of La Grange, the locally owned community bank has served the western suburbs for more than 100 years and continues to focus on personalized banking, local investment, and community involvement.
