Polar Pals Kindness Camp Brings Arctic Adventures to La Grange This August

Families looking for a fun and meaningful summer activity can register for Polar Pals Kindness Camp, taking place August 3–7 from 9:00–11:15 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of La Grange, 150 S. Ashland Ave.

Open to preschoolers (at least four years old and potty trained) through incoming fourth graders, the camp combines hands-on activities with lessons about kindness and friendship. Each day focuses on a different Arctic or Antarctic animal, using engaging stories, crafts, games, and snacks to explore the Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Throughout the week, campers will discover how teamwork, compassion, and caring for others can help make the world a warmer place—even in the coldest environments. It’s an opportunity for children to make new friends while learning about fascinating polar wildlife through creative, age-appropriate activities.

The cost to attend is $35. Registration is available through the church’s SignUpGenius page, where families can indicate which days their child(ren) will attend and provide ages in the comments section. Payment information is included in the registration details.
