We realize attending any type of support group for the first time can be overwhelming. We want to assure you that this is a welcoming, safe space for you. We keep the group small so that everyone can get to know each other and have a chance to share and there is no fee. Topics may include: solo parenting, how to find a path forward, building a support network, how to plan for your future, self-care and more.

Legacy Guild is pleased to again offer a Fall 2025 session of Embracing the Struggles Together bereavement group for all widow/widower parents with children (toddlers through college age) who reside in the Lyons Township High School District 204 area.

Mentorship, and Fellowship are the pillars of the Legacy Guild. Through the bereavement group, we’ve expanded our meaning of fellowship, creating another space for connection and widening the circle of support for local families navigating loss.
