La Grange Business Association Launches Self-Care Sunday, a New Wellness Experience in Downtown La Grange

New event brings together local experts in wellness, beauty, fitness and healthy living on Sunday, October 4, 2026

LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Business Association (LGBA) will introduce a new event focused on taking time to look good, feel good and live well when Self-Care Sunday comes to downtown La Grange on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Remi La Grange, 23 W. Calendar Avenue.

Curated by Vibes Cafe and presented by the LGBA’s Health & Wellness Committee, Self-Care Sunday will bring together businesses and professionals from across the health, wellness, fitness and beauty communities for an interactive three-hour experience.

Rather than a traditional vendor expo, attendees will be encouraged to experience the participating businesses firsthand. Activities and offerings include Pilates, assisted stretching, group reiki with tuning forks, skin consultations and analysis, spinal-decompression demonstrations, wellness food and beverage samples, complimentary IVs and B12 shots while supplies last, giveaways, event-only offers and more.

Self-Care Sunday will be offered in two sessions: 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 12:30–3:30 p.m., allowing attendees to explore the showcase, participate in activities and hear from featured speakers during their three-hour visit.

“Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind and spirit. Self-Care Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate YOU!” said Lauren Coltri, owner of Vibes Cafe and Chairperson of the La Grange Business Association’s Health & Wellness Committee.

The event will also feature special guest Alexia Pandey (formerly Alexia Robinson), Miss United States 2019 and founder of CEO Housewife. An educator, entrepreneur, author, wife and mother, Pandey will speak about navigating ambition, family and personal identity while making room for self-care.

Also appearing will be Dr. Scott Yilk, Medical Director at IVme and a Chicago-area emergency physician, who will share his perspective on health and wellness.

Participating businesses represent a range of approaches to self-care — from movement and fitness to skin care, nutrition, physical wellness and relaxation — giving attendees an opportunity to discover services available both in La Grange and the surrounding community.

“Self-Care Sunday is also an opportunity to showcase just how broad the health and wellness community has become,” said Dan Mulka, Executive Director of the La Grange Business Association. “Self-care means something different to everyone. We wanted to create an event where people could spend a few hours trying something new, learning from local experts and maybe discovering something they want to make part of their everyday routine.”

A portion of the proceeds from Self-Care Sunday will benefit Smile Train, an international nonprofit organization providing comprehensive cleft care to children around the world.

Tickets are $68.50 plus applicable Eventbrite fees and include admission to one three-hour session. Advance registration is encouraged.
