With excitement, Cor Cantiamo would like to invite you to Elegiac/Ecstatic, an exploration of the breadth of emotions surrounding the gifts of life, hope, and love, and how we oscillate within that emotional breadth in our search for understanding during loss.
Dr. Eckdahl’s intent with this program is to promote gratitude for life, hope, and love in the hope that it would prevail over the regret of impermanence. It features contemporary, living composers and is anchored by masterpieces of Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Howells.
