Wooden Paddle Brings Its Winter Menu Party to La Grange for One Night Only

Winter is officially being celebrated in style at Wooden Paddle. On Monday, February 3, the restaurant will host its highly anticipated Winter Menu Party™ in La Grange—an immersive, private dining experience built around indulgence, seasonality, and a little bit of theatrical flair.

Now in its 11th year, the Winter Menu Party™ has become one of Wooden Paddle’s most talked-about events. Designed as a seven-course tasting, the evening gives guests first access to new and seasonal creations straight from the kitchen—without compromise. It’s a night where winter decides the menu, premium ingredients take the spotlight, and food cost politely steps aside.

The tasting experience begins with a welcome drink, setting the tone for an evening of exploration. From there, guests move through a progression of thoughtfully crafted courses, including a bone marrow canoe, a wood-fired wedge, and a standout Wagyu bavette steak. The menu continues with a Genovese-style pasta, followed by seasonal pizzas served across two courses, before closing the night on a rich note with Old Money chocolate cake.

The evening is curated by Juan Alvarado, Wooden Paddle’s Culinary Director, who brings each course together into a cohesive winter showcase. While the menu itself is the star, the experience extends beyond the plate—pairing elevated food with an atmosphere that feels celebratory, social, and unmistakably Wooden Paddle.

In addition to the tasting menu, guests can expect thoughtfully paired drinks, interactive moments, games, and prizes, all wrapped in an art-deco-inspired setting that’s truly “worth dressing up for.” It’s a night designed to feel less like a traditional dinner and more like the party everyone talks about afterward.

The La Grange Winter Menu Party™ takes place February 3, and seating is limited. Tickets and additional details are available at woodenpaddle.com/wintermenuparty.
