The 12 Days of Timeless Traditions

Before the sleigh is packed and ready,
They visit every street and store—
Sharing smiles with local friends,
And spreading cheer from door to door.
Twelve days of timeless traditions rise,
In moments simple, sweet, and true.
For Santa and Mrs. Claus remind us—
The heart of the holidays lives here, with you.

Day 1: Horton’s Home Lighting

Santa and Mrs. Claus kicked off the 12 Days of Timeless Traditions with a visit to Horton’s Home Lighting, a cherished La Grange business that has illuminated the community since 1896. Courtney welcomed them into a store filled with Christmas magic—from curated gifts like Maui Jim, Oakley, and YETI to beautifully arranged holiday décor, including a striking new outdoor Christmas tree. Every corner of Horton’s glowed with seasonal warmth, reminding us why this longtime local favorite continues to shine year after year.
