Dr. Larry McClellan will explain the active research underway nearby in old Flagg Creek and Lyonsville and share stories about freedom seekers on their journeys through Northern Illinois. Larry A. McClellan features dozens of individuals who made dangerous journeys to reach freedom as well as residents in Chicago and across northeastern Illinois who made a deliberate choice to break the law to help.
