Screening and Discussion of the documentary “A Binding Truth” at the La Grange Public Library, La Grange, IL. This award-winning documentary tells the story of two high school classmates from 1965 in Charlotte, NC. Years later, they reconnect when a shocking discovery reveals secrets that would change their lives. Their story is also America’s story of slavery’s legacy and our current racial divide.
