Home gardeners can discover how their own yards can better support native pollinators during Gardening for Pollinators, a community conversation presented by Go Green Greater La Grange on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The program will take place from 6:30–8 p.m. at the La Grange Park Public Library, 555 N. La Grange Road, offering practical information for residents interested in creating healthier, more pollinator-friendly gardens.
The conversation will explore what native pollinators need to survive and how gardeners can help fulfill the needs of pollinators and their offspring. Participants will also learn about the impact healthy gardens can have in supporting a diversity of plants and animals.
The program will offer ideas gardeners can put into practice now, as well as ways to plan ahead so their gardens can attract more pollinators throughout the seasons. Attendees will also explore opportunities to engage with other gardens to enjoy, learn and help.
