Root Rehab Invites the Community to Unwind with “Yoga to Relax and Refresh”

Taking time to slow down isn’t always easy—but a new community class at Root Rehab is designed to help La Grange residents do exactly that.

On Thursday, March 5 at 6:00 pm, Root Rehab Sports Physical Therapy will host a special Yoga to Relax and Refresh session at their clinic, offering a welcoming space to unwind, reconnect, and reset—both physically and mentally.

A Gentle Approach to Movement and Recovery

This 45-minute class focuses on slow, intentional movement designed to release tension, calm the nervous system, and help participants feel more grounded. The session will be led by Jayne Furlong, a 500-hour certified yoga instructor known for her thoughtful, accessible teaching style.

Participants can expect a gentle, grounding experience that helps:

  • Reduce stress and muscle tension

  • Improve mobility and body awareness

  • Support recovery and overall wellness

  • Leave you feeling calmer, more open, and re-energized

This is a Bring Your Own Mat (BYOM) class. Additional props will be provided.

The session is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, with proceeds going directly to the instructor.

If community interest is strong, Root Rehab hopes to make this class a monthly offering, creating a consistent opportunity for restorative movement in La Grange.
