Final Call - Spring Show 2026 (Latte Theater)

Latte Theater Announces Final Call for Spring 2026 Acting Company Auditions

Aspiring performers across Chicagoland have one final opportunity to join one of La Grange’s most dynamic performing arts programs. Latte Theater has issued its Final Call for auditions for its Spring Show 2026 Acting Company, inviting young actors ages 14 to 28 to take part in a conservatory-style theater experience that blends professional-level training with real stage performance.

Based in La Grange, Latte Theater is known for producing bold, high-quality productions while nurturing the next generation of performers through a structured, supportive training environment. Each season’s shows are carefully selected to challenge actors, expand their range, and help them grow as artists—both on and off the stage.

A Conservatory-Style Experience With Real Stage Time

Unlike traditional theater programs, Latte Theater operates as a conservatory-style ensemble, meaning participants receive consistent training, rehearsal time, and performance opportunities throughout the season. The program embraces the Pfluger Empathy Movement Method, an acting approach that focuses on emotional authenticity, character connection, and collaborative storytelling.

Actors selected for the Spring 2026 company will rehearse on:

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:00–9:00 PM

  • Saturdays from 12:00–3:00 PM

“Tech week” begins April 24, with fully staged performances taking place during the first two weekends of May.

Productions Designed to Grow Performers

Latte Theater’s Spring shows are chosen specifically to showcase and develop the talents of the acting company. Past seasons have included productions such as Little Women, Lost in Yonkers, Sense & Sensibility, The Screwtape Letters, and 12 Angry Jurors, offering actors the chance to tackle rich, complex material across multiple genres.

This approach allows performers to build confidence, deepen their craft, and gain meaningful stage experience—an invaluable foundation for students considering college theater programs or professional training.

Scholarships Available

Latte Theater also offers scholarships for college students, helping to make this immersive training program more accessible to young performers continuing their education in the arts.

How to Audition

Auditions are open to performers ages 14–38, and the deadline to apply is January 21 at 11:59 PM.
