La Grange, IL – February 18, 2025 – The La Grange Business Association (LGBA) is proud to announce the winners of the first-ever La Grange Community Champions Awards, an event celebrating the outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations that make La Grange a remarkable place to live, work, and thrive. The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the American Legion Robert E. Coulter, Jr. Post 1941 (900 S. La Grange Rd.).
This inspiring evening will recognize local leaders and businesses who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, community outreach, customer service, and innovation. Attendees will enjoy an evening of networking, camaraderie, and celebration while honoring the impact of these exceptional community members.

2025 La Grange Community Champions Award Winners:
- Business Leader of the Year: John Janowski (Milk Money Brewing) – Recognized for his dedication, leadership, and contributions to strengthening the local economy and fostering collaboration among businesses.
- Business of the Year: FNBC Bank & Trust – Honored for its exceptional financial services, commitment to the community, and strong partnership with local businesses.
- Community Outreach Leader of the Year: David Rout (Celtics Soccer Club) – A dedicated advocate for youth and community development through soccer, fostering inclusivity and engagement for over two decades.
- D102 Educator of the Year: Kelly Paetsch (Park Junior High) – A passionate educator who has dedicated 30 years to inspiring students, making a lasting impact on education and the arts.
- D204 Educator of the Year: Jeremy Vrtis (Lyons Township High School) – Recognized for his innovative approach to education, mentorship of students and teachers, and leadership in student engagement programs.
- Emerging Business Leader of the Year: Joe Crump (NAMSCORP) – An entrepreneurial leader under 40, demonstrating innovation, business growth, and commitment to community involvement.
- Health & Wellness Leader of the Year: Jackie Errico (JL Fitness) – Honored for her dedication to promoting health and wellness through her fitness business, creating an inclusive environment for all.
- Outstanding Customer Experience: Anna & Philip Wagler, AM Family Insurance – Recognized for their exceptional customer service, trust-building, and personalized client care in the insurance industry.
- Outstanding Social Media Presence: MION Artisan Soap – Awarded for leveraging social media to engage its audience, elevate brand awareness, and foster community pride.
- Sustainability Leader of the Year: Closest Closet – Recognized for its commitment to sustainability through eco-friendly business practices and environmental advocacy.
- Volunteer of the Year: Claire Burdett – A high school student demonstrating outstanding dedication to volunteerism, setting a remarkable example for community service.
