La Grange residents are invited to enjoy an evening of live music under the summer sky when acclaimed solo guitarist Goran Ivanovic performs at First Presbyterian Church of La Grange on Tuesday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m. Part of the church’s free monthly weeknight concert series, the performance offers the community an opportunity to gather, relax and experience an artist whose music crosses genres and borders.
Ivanovic is a genre-defying solo guitarist whose original compositions draw from classical music, Balkan traditions, cinematic soundtracks and contemporary harmonic language. Rooted in the acoustic tradition while continually evolving, his music pairs intricate technique with emotional storytelling.
Weather permitting, the August concert will take place outdoors on the church lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, snacks and friends for an enjoyable summer evening in La Grange. The concert is free and open to all. First Presbyterian Church of La Grange hosts its monthly weeknight concerts on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m., with no admission charge.
