Cook County has launched a new Catalyst Grant program designed to help local businesses take their next big step toward growth. Up to 88 Cook County businesses will each receive $100,000 grants to fuel expansion, innovation, and workforce development.
The Catalyst Grant can support a variety of growth opportunities — including hiring or training new talent, upgrading facilities, and expanding operations.
Who Can Apply
This competitive grant opportunity is open to for-profit businesses located in Cook County that meet the following criteria:

Have at least one full-time employee in addition to the owner (in 2024 and at the time of application)

Earn annual revenue between $500,000 and $10 million in both 2023 and 2024
-
Demonstrate business growth from 2023 to 2024 in profit and jobs
-
Operate within one of the following industries:

Construction

Manufacturing
-
Finance and Insurance
-
Professional Services
-
Information Technology (IT)
-
Real Estate
-
