Downtown La Grange will soon be flowing with fine wine and good cheer as the Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Walk returns on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. Hosted by Child Link, this annual celebration combines community, culture, and a great cause — raising funds for local foster youth programs while toasting the release of one of France’s most festive wines.
What Is Beaujolais Nouveau?
“Beaujolais Nouveau” (pronounced boh-zhuh-lay noo-voh) translates to “new Beaujolais” — a light, fruity red wine from the Beaujolais region of France. Traditionally released on the third Thursday of November, it marks the first taste of the year’s harvest. Across the world, wine lovers gather for release-day celebrations — and La Grange joins that tradition with its own local twist.
About the Event
The Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Walk invites guests to sip and stroll through downtown La Grange, visiting 10+ local restaurants and shops offering curated wine tastings and light bites. It’s a perfect way to explore La Grange’s vibrant business district while supporting Child Link, a nonprofit that helps children and youth in foster care through adoption, mentoring, counseling, and independent-living programs.
Proceeds from every ticket — including General Admission and VIP options — directly benefit Child Link’s mission to help children heal, grow, and thrive.
