CRM & Website Operations Intern (Summer 2026)

The La Grange Business Association (LGBA) is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable intern to support the organization’s transition to new systems and platforms, including customer relationship management (CRM) and website functionality.

This role focuses on the operational side of marketing and events—helping organize data, support outreach efforts, and maintain website content. The position offers hands-on experience with real business systems that support membership, sponsorship, and community programming.

This role is best suited for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and interested in how systems support marketing and events.

Position Overview

The CRM & Website Operations Intern will assist with the implementation and ongoing use of LGBA’s CRM system and support updates to the organization’s website, including business listings and event-related content.

This is a structured, project-based role where the intern will work from defined tasks and processes, with opportunities to contribute to initiatives such as membership renewal outreach and sponsorship support.

The position will report to the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM (Primary Focus)
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining contact data within the CRM (HubSpot)
    • Apply tags, categories, and segmentation to support outreach efforts
    • Build and update lists for membership renewals, sponsorship outreach, and communications
    • Support execution of email campaigns and outreach initiatives
    • Help track engagement and maintain accurate records
  • Website (WordPress)
    • Assist with updating and maintaining business directory listings in WordPress
    • Upload and format content, including business information, links, and images
    • Help ensure consistency and accuracy across website pages
    • Support updates to event-related pages and content
  • Project Support
    • Assist with membership renewal campaigns and outreach preparation
    • Support sponsorship tracking and organization
    • Help maintain organized records and materials for LGBA initiatives

Schedule & Commitment

  • Duration: Late May through early August (aligned with collegiate summer schedules)
  • Weekly Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week

Shift Structure:

  • Two, five hour shifts between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM during each work week.
  • Schedule to be coordinated in advance (primarily in-office)

Additional Required Dates:

  • Availability is required for LGBA Carnival: May 29–31, 2026 (evenings and weekend hours)

Compensation

  • $1,500 stipend upon successful completion of the internship
  • Additional hourly compensation ($15/hour) is provided for required Carnival shifts (May 29–31, 2026)

Ideal Candidate

  • Interest in business operations, marketing systems, or data organization
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working with structured systems, including spreadsheets, databases, or content management tools
  • Experience with platforms such as WordPress or CRM systems is helpful, but not required
  • Able to follow defined processes and complete tasks accurately
  • Reliable and able to work independently with guidance
