As a mom of twins, I know how hectic life can get. Between early wake ups, sleepless nights, work, and endless snack requests, finding time for yourself can feel impossible. But this year, I’m here to tell you: it’s not about making massive, overwhelming changes. It’s about starting small, staying consistent, and surrounding yourself with the right people.

When my twins were babies, I gained over 20 pounds. I was exhausted and I was doing the wrong workouts for the stress that my body was enduring. But then I realized something powerful: making time for myself wasn’t selfish—it was necessary. I started with small habits. A 10-minute morning walk. Swapping processed foods for unprocessed and complex carbs. Stretching for five minutes before bed. Those tiny changes didn’t feel like much at first, but they added up to a healthier, happier me.

The secret is consistency. Even on days when I didn’t feel like it, I reminded myself why I started. Progress might feel slow, but every step forward counts. Whether it’s committing to three workouts a week or prepping your meals on Sundays, showing up for yourself—even in small ways—can lead to big results.

And here’s another game-changer: your support system. Surround yourself with people who cheer you on, not drag you down. Whether it’s a workout buddy, an encouraging friend, or a group fitness class, positive energy is contagious. “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”

This year, let’s focus on progress, not perfection. Start small, stay consistent, and lean into the power of community. As a fellow mom juggling it all, I promise you: these small changes will lead to big transformations. Let’s make 2025 our healthiest and happiest year yet!

Let me share my new nighttime routine, it’s not perfect, but it’s better than no changes:

No phone once I get in bed

Pick one before getting in bed and swap out for tv/screen time: stretching, foam rolling, communication with my significant other

Breath Work for 1 min minimum: Wim Hof Breathing

You’ve got this, mama! Let’s crush it together. 💪🎉
