Classic cars, nostalgic Route 66 vibes, and a mission that helps neighbors every day—it all comes together this fall at Community Assisted Rides’ (CARS) 24th Annual Fall Benefit, Route 66: Cruisin’ for a Cause.
Mark your calendar for Thursday, September 24, 2026, as supporters gather at Drury Lane for an evening celebrating the people, volunteers, and community that keep CARS moving forward.
For more than two decades, Community Assisted Rides has helped older adults and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence by providing free, compassionate transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other essential destinations. Their volunteer drivers do much more than provide a ride—they help keep neighbors connected to the community they call home.
This year’s Route 66 theme promises a fun evening inspired by America’s most iconic highway, complete with classic automotive flair and plenty of opportunities to support an organization that makes a meaningful difference throughout the western suburbs.
