The votes have been counted, the drinks have been sampled, and this year’s Mixology Madness champions have officially been crowned!
Over the past several weeks, community members visited participating restaurants, cafés, and drink spots throughout La Grange to sip, scan, and vote for their favorite featured beverages in this year’s friendly drink competition. From creative cocktails to refreshing non-alcoholic creations, Mixology Madness highlighted the creativity and talent found throughout La Grange’s dining scene.
As official Mixology Madness champions, both businesses will display the event’s traveling trophies until next year’s competition returns to La Grange with a fresh round of featured drinks and community voting.
This year’s winners are:
Best Alcoholic Drink
“Violet Beauregarde” — Milkstop Cafe
Featuring Empress gin, hibiscus syrup, egg white, and elderflower violet, the Violet Beauregarde captured voters’ attention with its vibrant presentation and floral, refreshing flavor profile.
Best Non-Alcoholic Drink
“La Grange Smash Hit” — Barrel House Social
This winning non-alcoholic creation featured fresh-brewed tea, muddled blackberry, bright lemon, garden mint, and a splash of soda — delivering a crisp and refreshing drink that earned strong support from voters throughout the competition.
Mixology Madness was designed to encourage the community to explore local businesses, try something new, and celebrate the creativity happening across La Grange’s food and beverage scene. Participating restaurants, cafés, and bubble tea shops brought tremendous energy and originality to the competition, helping make this year’s event a success.
