The Kiwanis Club of La Grange is marking an incredible milestone—100 years of service—with a family-friendly community event that brings together food, music, and a great cause.
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, neighbors are invited to the Helping Hand Center in Countryside for Breakfast & Beats, a morning filled with delicious food, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.
A Morning Built for the Whole Family
From 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, guests can enjoy a casual, welcoming atmosphere featuring a variety of breakfast favorites, including:
- French toast sticks
- Quiche
- Bagels and fruit
- Gluten-free options available
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or planning to stay awhile, the event is designed to be easy, affordable, and enjoyable for everyone.
Live Music + Kids Activities
Families will especially enjoy the live performance by Mr. Dave from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, bringing high-energy, kid-friendly music that encourages dancing, clapping, and participation.
In addition to the music, kids can take part in games and activities throughout the morning, making this a great outing for young families.
Supporting the Community

Proceeds support Kiwanis initiatives focused on serving children and the local community. In addition, the Kiwanis Aktion Club—a group for adults with disabilities—will be onsite selling spring flowers, offering a perfect opportunity to pick up something special for Mother’s Day while supporting a meaningful cause.
