We need your help in putting on the West End Arts Festival! From helping to check-in artists on Friday, September 5 to answering questions at our info tent or helping kids paint our mural on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 OPPORTUNITIES
Check-In Table
Location: Tent located near corner of Burlington and Waiola
Help check in artists arriving for the West End Arts Festival. You’ll point out their tent location, and hand them materials such as maps, lanyards, and other items. Start them out on the right foot!
Note: Volunteers will be seated underneath a tent.
Max Volunteers: 2 per shift
Times: 9:00am – 12 noon, 12 noon – 3pm, 3pm – 6pm

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 and SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 OPPORTUNITIES
Info Table / Booth Monitors
Location: Tent located near the corner of Burlington and Stone, Artist Tents
Help check in artists arriving for the West End Arts Festival. You’ll point out their tent location, and hand them materials such as maps, lanyards, and other items. Start them out on the right foot!
Note: Volunteers will be seated underneath a tent. Volunteers may be asked to “sit” at a booth while an artist takes a break or may be asked to hand out water / other items to artists in their booths. Tent is located near music stage, so this tent will be louder in comparison to other volunteer opportunities.
Max Volunteers: 4 per shift, each day
Times: 9:30am – 12 noon, 12 noon – 2:30pm, 2:30pm – 5pm (Saturday); 9:30am – 12 noon, 12 noon – 2:30pm, 2:30pm – 5pm (Sunday);

Greeters
Location: Either the corner of Burlington and Brainard or the corner of Burlington and Waiola
Welcome visitors to the West End Arts Festival. Hand out programs to those interested.
Note: Volunteers will be standing for their shift.

Activation Tent – Art of the Community
Location: Tent location TBD
Give kids instructions and supplies to help paint a community mural. You will hand a small cup of paint and a paintbrush to each child. You will then tell them an assigned number to paint – which corresponds with a small block on the community mural.
Note: Volunteers will be able to be seated underneath a tent.
