Producer
The Skeletober Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is producer by the La Grange Business Association (“LGBA”), 26 S. La Grange Road, Suite 103, La Grange, IL 60525.

1. Eligibility

• • • Open to legal residents of the United States, age 13 or older at the time of entry.

    • If a winner is between 13 and 17, the prize must be accepted and claimed by a parent or legal guardian on the winner’s behalf.

    • Employees, board members, and immediate family of LGBA are not eligible.

    • Void where prohibited.

2. Entry Period

The Giveaway begins October 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM Central Time and ends October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM Central Time (“Entry Period”). Skeleton QR codes may be displayed at different times during the Entry Period at the discretion of participating businesses or LGBA. Entries for any given skeleton are only possible once its QR code is on public display.

3. How to Enter

• • • QR Code Entry: Scan a Skeletober skeleton QR code in La Grange and complete the online entry form with your name, email address, and age confirmation. Limit one entry per skeleton per person/email. Duplicate entries for the same skeleton are void.

      

    • Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without scanning a skeleton QR code, send a postcard with your name, email, phone number, and the words “Skeletober Giveaway Entry” to:
      La Grange Business Association, 26 S La Grange Road, Suite 103, La Grange, IL 60525.

      • • Each mail-in entry must be submitted separately, will count as one (1) entry, and must be postmarked by October 31, 2025 and received by November 5, 2025. Limit one entry per outer envelope. Maximum number of entries (QR + AMOE combined) is equal to the total number of skeletons available in the Giveaway.

4. Prize

One (1) winner will receive $500 in gift certificates to participating La Grange businesses (Approximate Retail Value: $500).

• • • Prize is non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and substitutions are not permitted.

    • All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

• • • Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about November 10, 2025.

    • Winner will be notified by email at the address provided at entry.

    • If a winner cannot be contacted, if notification is returned as undeliverable, or if no response is received within 72 hours, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

    • LGBA may require proof of age or parent/guardian consent before awarding the prize.

6. Tampering and Fraud

Any attempt to deliberately damage any website, undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway, or circumvent the entry process (including but not limited to multiple entries using different email addresses, automated methods, or guessing skeleton URLs) is prohibited and may result in disqualification at LGBA’s sole discretion. LGBA also reserves the right to examine entry time stamps and patterns. Entries that appear to be submitted in bulk, in an automated fashion, or in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of the Giveaway may be disqualified.

7. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this Giveaway and, if opted in, for distribution of the La Grange Insider e-newsletter, subject to LGBA’s Privacy Policy. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Release

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless LGBA, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and sponsors from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

9. Miscellaneous

LGBA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Giveaway. LGBA is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or undeliverable entries; or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to website outages, server issues, or internet connectivity problems that may affect participation. In the event of a technical failure that materially impacts the Giveaway, LGBA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway at its sole discretion. Decisions of LGBA are final and binding in all matters relating to this Giveaway.
