Hot art. Cool jazz. Great wines!

The 2018 West End Arts Festival is a feast for the eyes, ears and palate with a line-up that includes exhibits from fine artists from throughout the Midwest plus culinary demonstrations from local chefs, wine tastings led by sommeliers and live jazz performances throughout the weekend.
Visitors may browse and purchase from 60 top artists with works that include oils, acrylics, photography, jewelry, pottery, fabrics and sculpture. There will also be a booth showcasing the work of art students from Lyons Township High School.

Activities for kids include face painting and art activities throughout the weekend hosted by The Park District of La Grange.

Creates and performs old timey jazz arrangements of rock and pop songs.
12-1:30pm    Leah Shoshanah
A multi-faceted singer, songwriter & guitarist whose soulful, orignal music deftly navigates the jazz, rock and folk genres.
2-3:30pm    John Chadwick Trio
Traditional jazz with a Modern Twist.
4-6pm    Heisenberg Uncertainty Players (HUP)
A Chicago-area 17 piece big band playing only original compositions. Nearing the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ Abbey Road album, the group is performing director John Dorhauer’s arrangements of every song from Abbey Road.
7-9:30pm    Elmhurst College Jazz Band
Back for the second year! Under the direction of Grammy Award winner Doug Beach, the band has performed around the world and has appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Umbria Jazz Festival and many others.

Sato Music Studios offers quality piano and voice lessons in La Grange.
2-3:30pm    Multiplicity Jazz Band
A jazz-inspired ensemble of talented Chicago-based musicians who draw from varied eras and styles to create fresh, improvised interpretations of music by legendary artists.

LIVE ART AUCTION
Saturday will also feature an auction of 30 hand-painted love seats that have been displayed in an outdoor art exhibit called Live Love La Grange” sponsored by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. The auction is live beginning at 6 p.m., and it will benefit local nonprofits, including Pet Parade Charities.
